My skills in these areas are natural segues as an executive coach and business consultant.
My career spans more than twenty-five years in leadership and operations with pharmaceutical research and development organizations, the U.S. Department of Defense, and the U.S. Army. I have supported multiple global clinical trials as a supply chain professional in the biotech space, helping to bring to market two internationally approved drugs. I have worked with supply, shipping, and logistics for the military, as well as organizational design for supply organizations for the government. I began my career as an officer in the U.S. Army, with multiple deployments in support of peacekeeping operations.

Since 2018, I have been the president of K-TEQ Solutions. My services as an independent consultant encompass executive coaching, business operations, organization effectiveness, and leadership. I have been engaged in multi-year contracts to U.S. military hospitals where I provided expertise in executive and leadership coaching to individuals and teams. My current work focuses on strategic planning; design, planning and execution of strategic leadership offsites; leadership development; culture in the workplace, and project management for strategy-driven projects.
Previously, I was the Senior Director of Operations for CONRAD, a non-profit research and development organization at the Eastern Virginia Medical School in Arlington, Virginia. With approximately $90M in funding and $15M in annual expenditures, I led the finance, contracting, administration, and program management divisions, providing senior management direction across the organization. I oversaw human resources activities, and facilitated development of the strategic vision for organizational growth and direction. Responsibilities encompassed designing, implementing, and managing change activities, as well as providing program management for change initiatives.
I have worked with profit and non-profit organizations and apply my skills to the different objectives and fiscal responsibilities of both. I can speak to both sides in terms of what an executive director is looking for in his fundraising, as well as how a CEO looks to make the company more profitable for the board.
